Activity Description:

Join us for an unforgettable two-day expedition across the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps, stretching over 23 kilometers. This adventure begins at the Jungfraujoch, often referred to as the "Top of Europe," situated at an elevation of 3,454 meters. From this high-altitude starting point, you'll embark on a guided descent along the frozen expanse of the glacier, navigating around intricate ice formations and deep crevasses.
As you make your way down the glacier, you'll be surrounded by the awe-inspiring peaks of the Bernese Alps, with panoramic views that showcase the raw beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The day's trek culminates at the Konkordia Hut, perched at 2,850 meters above sea level. This mountain lodge offers rustic yet comfortable accommodations, providing a warm meal and a chance to rest amidst the serene alpine environment.
On the second day, the journey continues as you traverse further along the glacier, experiencing the tranquil morning light and the crisp mountain air. The hike concludes at Fiescheralp, where you'll have the opportunity to reflect on the journey and capture final photographs of the stunning landscape.
This trek is designed for adventure seekers with a good level of fitness, capable of hiking for approximately six hours each day. No prior glacier experience is necessary; however, participants should be surefooted and have a head for heights.

Functional mountain clothing that is water resistant, comfortable and breathable. Solid hiking or mountaineering boots. 30l – 40l backpack. Picnic lunch for 2 days (can be purchased at the huts).
