Stand Up Paddle In Portugal
- Stand Up Paddling is an ancient method of surfing that became famous in the 60’s in Hawaii.
- Recently, it upgraded its status as a sport on its own and it has become ever more popular, showing a big growth rate around the world nowadays. It’s a sport that is practiced with a large board and a paddle, usually in spots with calm waters.
- Near Porto there are ideal conditions for going through with this activity, combining wonderful scenery with quiet water spots. SUP is also considered an activity with very low environmental impact, allowing its practitioners relaxation, leisure and fun, as well as moments of introspection and contemplation.

- We will pick you up at your accommodation and take you straight to the place/spot where the activity is held (it may change considering tidal and wind factors). Once there, a small security briefing takes place and a demonstration of the paddling technique is done.
- After this small introduction, a nice Stand Up Paddle ride takes place, lasting between one or two hours depending on the weather and the guest’s fitness level. We will then bring you back to your accommodation!

What To Wear:
- Wear sensible beach clothes
- There is no age requirement
- We pick you up at your accommodation and provide round-trip transportation. Just input your address when booking.
- Your guide will be able to speak English and Portuguese
- 3 hours (Input your desired starting time when booking)
- This activity is available all year
- Minimum of 2 people
- Maximum of 16 people
- Full refund if notified 5 days before the scheduled activity.
- 50 percent charge on the total price if notified 24 hours to 4 days in advance.
- Charged in full if notified less than 24 hours in advance.
- Full refund if cancelled due to weather.
