The Strubklamm Gorge offers an unparalleled canyoning adventure for those seeking a medium to difficult challenge. As one of Austria's most renowned and longest gorges, it features long swimming passages through extremely narrow sections, with some areas only about 1 meter wide and flanked by towering rock walls nearly 200 meters high. Participants will encounter over 17 jumps, with heights up to 10 meters; however, jumps over 3 meters can also be roped down for those who prefer.
Certain parts of the gorge receive minimal light, adding to the mystique, while other sections are beautifully illuminated, showcasing the crystal-clear waters. Due to the physical demands of this tour, good physical condition and stamina are essential. Our state-certified guides will provide comprehensive training and ensure safety throughout the journey. All necessary equipment, including high-quality neoprene suits, helmets, and life jackets, is provided. Participants should bring swimwear, a towel, and trainers that can get wet. 4 people minimum to sign up (if you are one person, you will be assigned with at least 3 others)

Cancellation Policy:

If the visitor cancels the tour at least 7 calendar days in advance, there will a full 100% refund of the booking fee.
If the visitor cancels the tour between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, there will be a 50% refund of the booking fee.
If the visitor cancels the tour within 2 calendar days in advance , or does not appear at the commencement of the tour, there is NO refund of the booking fee.

State-of-the-art canyoning equipment
high-quality neoprene suits from Vade Retro. For our aquatic canyons (many jumps and swimming passages such as in the Strubklamm or in the Almbach), optimal protection against the cold is essential.
Neoprene jacket with hood and neoprene pants
For guests who are very sensitive to the cold we also offer a 3 mm neoprene top for "pulling under"
Neoprene Socks and gloves
Depending on the weather, we recommend that you also take synthetic sports underwear with you for better thermal insulation (no cotton).

Located around 25km south of Salzburg on the hotel grounds Torrenerhof in Golling an der Salzach (approx. 20 minutes by car south of Salzburg city). You can reach us both by car and by public transport. The Golling-Abtenau train station and the center of Golling are around 2 km away.
