ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:

Rafting Salzach:

This easy tour takes us to impressive sites such as Tennen, Hagengebirge, Hohenwerfen Castle, Stegenwald, and the famous Salzachöfen. Only about 20 minutes away from the meetup point, we start our popular family tour directly under the imposing Hohenwerfen Castle. Beautiful sandbanks and flood stretches form an exciting white water tour over about 10 km, during which it is possible to jump out of the boat to swim in the river. A pleasure for the whole family!

THINGS TO KNOW:

What to wear:

Bring with you: swimwear, towel, trainers that can get wet (life jackets, neoprene suits, helmets and neoprene shoes are provided)

Requirements:

Must be able to swim and must be at least 6 years old

Cancellation Policy:

If the visitor cancels the tour at least 7 calendar days in advance, there will a full 100% refund of the booking fee.
If the visitor cancels the tour between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, there will be a 50% refund of the booking fee.
If the visitor cancels the tour within 2 calendar days in advance , or does not appear at the commencement of the tour, there is NO refund of the booking fee.

Directions to the meetup location:

Located around 25km south of Salzburg on the hotel grounds Torrenerhof in Golling an der Salzach (approx. 20 minutes by car south of Salzburg city). You can reach us both by car and by public transport. The Golling-Abtenau train station and the center of Golling are around 2 km away.
