Rafting Salzach:

This easy rafting tour is perfect for families and beginners, offering a delightful journey through some of the most impressive sites along the Salzach River. Starting directly under the imposing Hohenwerfen Castle, the tour covers approximately 10 kilometers of gentle whitewater (Salzachklamm), featuring beautiful sandbanks and floodplains. Participants can enjoy the thrill of rafting while also having the opportunity to jump out of the boat and swim in the river's refreshing waters. The scenic backdrop includes views of the Tennen and Hagen mountain ranges, as well as the famous Salzachöfen gorge and Salzachklamm. Our state-certified guides will provide comprehensive training at the start, ensuring you are well-prepared for the adventure. All necessary equipment, including life jackets, neoprene suits, helmets, and neoprene shoes, is provided. Participants should bring swimwear, a towel, and trainers that can get wet. Please note that the minimum age for this activity is 6 years old. Must be able to swim and must be at least 6 years old
Good swimmer
4 people minimum to sign up (if you are one person, you will be assigned with at least 3 others)

Cancellation Policy:

If the visitor cancels the tour at least 7 calendar days in advance, there will a full 100% refund of the booking fee.
If the visitor cancels the tour between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, there will be a 50% refund of the booking fee.
If the visitor cancels the tour within 2 calendar days in advance , or does not appear at the commencement of the tour, there is NO refund of the booking fee.

Located around 25km south of Salzburg on the hotel grounds Torrenerhof in Golling an der Salzach (approx. 20 minutes by car south of Salzburg city). You can reach us both by car and by public transport. The Golling-Abtenau train station and the center of Golling are around 2 km away.
