ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:

Rafting Salzach:

Starting from Puch Urstein, with the mighty Hagen and Tennen mountains in the background, we glide through the breath taking natural landscape of the Salzach river; passing the historic residential area of Salzburg before we finally reach the impressive historical cityscape of the former prince-archbishop's home. It’s amazing how much fun rafting can be, and what surprises and discoveries await you on this quieter section of the Salzach.
The easiest way to get to the meeting point is by train. Here is a link to train information.
Book the tour as an individual, as a pair, or as a larger group (up to 80 people).
Tours need a minimum of 6 participants. If your booking is for less than the minimum we will try to match you up with other interested parties.
This is an ideal tour for families, seniors, company outings, company parties, youth groups, wedding groups and incentives.

What to wear:

Bring with you: swimwear, towel, trainers that can get wet (life jackets, neoprene suits, helmets and neoprene shoes are provided)

1 hour 15 minutes on the river

Requirements:

Must be able to swim and must be at least 6 years old

Cancellation Policy:

If the visitor cancels the tour at least 7 calendar days in advance, there will a full 100% refund of the booking fee.
If the visitor cancels the tour between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, there will be a 50% refund of the booking fee.
If the visitor cancels the tour within 2 calendar days in advance , or does not appear at the commencement of the tour, there is NO refund of the booking fee.

Directions to the meetup location:

Located around 25km south of Salzburg on the hotel grounds Torrenerhof in Golling an der Salzach (approx. 20 minutes by car south of Salzburg city). You can reach us both by car and by public transport. The Golling-Abtenau train station and the center of Golling are around 2 km away.
