ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
- Join us for an exhilarating adventure that combines the thrill of cycling with the serenity of hiking in one of Hong Kong's most picturesque regions. Our journey begins in the charming village of Tai Mei Tuk, where you'll be equipped with a quality bicycle and helmet. We'll set off on a leisurely ride along the tranquil shores of Plover Cove, pedaling past serene waters and lush greenery. The dedicated cycle paths and flat terrain make this portion of the trip accessible and enjoyable for cyclists of all levels.
- After soaking in the coastal vistas, we'll transition from wheels to feet, securing our bikes and embarking on a hike into the verdant highlands that surround Plover Cove. The trail leads us through dense forests, alive with the sounds of nature and the rustle of leaves underfoot. As we ascend, the air becomes crisper, and the canopy above provides a cool respite. Our ultimate goal is to uncover the area's hidden waterfalls—cascading gems tucked away in secluded spots, offering a refreshing sight and a perfect backdrop for photos.
- Throughout the journey, our experienced guide will share insights into the local flora and fauna, as well as the cultural history of the Plover Cove region. Whether you're an avid adventurer or someone looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle, this tour offers a balanced mix of physical activity and natural beauty. Remember to dress appropriately for biking and hiking, and bring along water to stay hydrated. We'll meet at Tai Po Market MTR Station, Exit B, at 11:00 a.m. sharp. What to wear:
- Dress according to the weather and wear typical biking or hiking clothes. Please be sure to bring water along.
- 4 Hours
- If the visitor cancels the tour at least 7 calendar days in advance, there will a full 100% refund of the booking fee.
- If the visitor cancels the tour between 3 and 6 calendar days in advance, there will be a 50% refund of the booking fee.
- If the visitor cancels the tour within 2 calendar days in advance , or does not appear at the commencement of the tour, there is NO refund of the booking fee.
- We will meet at the subway station called "Tai Po Market". Meet at exit "B" (outside of Starbucks) at 11:00 a.m. A map is shown below.
