- Phi Phi island (เกาะ พี พี, Koh means “island” in Thai), is internationally renowned thanks to white sand beaches and cliffs. The island is made up of two main islands, which are Koh Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Ley. Furthermore there are several other little islands which are mainly rocks. This archipelago is located east of Phuket in Thailand, in the Andaman sea off the coast of Krabi province.
Itinerary:
- 7:30 am – Meeting at your hotel and proceed to Chalong Pier. Transfer to dive boat
- 11:00 am – First snorkeling session à Koh Bida Nok
- 12:00 am – One hour surface interval
- 13:00 am – Second snorkeling session at Palong Wall
- 13:30 pm –Hot buffet lunch served on board.
- 15:30 pm – There will be a third dive for divers only, snorkelers will stay on the boat for Koh Dok Mai as it is exposed to strong current
- 18:00 pm – Back to Chalong Pier and return to hotel
Similan Islands: 110 USD
- The National Park of Similan Islands is composed of nine islands (Similan means nine in Malais). This archipelago is easy to reach, and is located only 50 kilometers far from Phuket. It can be visited in one day, but you can as well stay there several days. Similan National Park is open from 15 October to 15 May.
Itinerary:
- 6:00 am – Pick up from the hotel to Tap-Lamu Pier Thaimuang District Phang-Nga province and have some coffee or tea
- 8:30am - 10:00 am – Departure from the pier to Similan archipelago by speed boat and snorkeling in the area of the beautiful fishes and coral at Bangu Island
- 11:30 am – Lunch with thai food / set menu and relax on Similan Island
- 13:30 am – Transfer by speed boat to snorkeling at Koh Miang, Connecting to Koh Payu for snorkeling
- 15:00 pm – Departure from Similan archipelago to Tap-Lamu Pier
- 16:30 pm – Arrive at the pier and back to the hotel
The Islands:
- You must take into account that it is a tiring day, due to the long transfers (around 4 hours to go, 4 hours to come back). You will stay a few hours at the spots. Moreover, we inform you that Similar Island are very popular and there is a lot of tourists, because it is one of the most beautiful spot for snorkeling.
- All islands were declared National Parks in 1982 to protect the island from abusive tourism developments that can be found on some islands in Thailand. As a consequence you will not find hotels; only bungalows and tents are rented on one of the islands. Thanks to that, the archipelago therefore remains untouched by civilization and offers one of the most beautiful landscapes of Thailand.
- The Similan Islands are obviously one the best places for diving and snorkeling Thailand as they offer a rich underwater diversity where you can observe many species.
Racha Yai: 75 USD
- Koh Racha Yai, is the largest of the two islands located off the Southeastern coast of Phuket. This scuba eden has gained its reputation with its beautiful clear water and white sand beaches. You will be able to discover the rich marine life by snorkeling during the day or over several days. Wide variety of flora and fauna can be seen with good underwater visibility, all thanks to Racha Yai Snorkeling.
Itinerary:
- 8:00 am - Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Chalong Pier
- 09:00 am - Welcome aboard! Breakfast is provided on the way
- 09:30 pm - Arrival at Batok Bay, Racha Yai Island
- 10:00 am – Explore the spectacular snorkeling spots around the island
- 12:00 am – Hot buffet lunch on board. After lunch there is time for snorkeling and sun bathing
- 1:30 pm – Explore another beautiful snorkeling spot
- 3:00 pm – Rest and Relax. Enjoy fresh tropical fruit and soft drinks on the way back to Chalong pier
- 4:00 pm – Back to Chalong Pier and return to hotel
The Islands:
- Koh Racha Yai, is the largest of the two islands located off the Southeastern coast of Phuket. First of all Different kinds of corals can be spotted here with the Staghorn coral predominating in many areas. Marine life is rich and species such as Barracuda, Tuna and Milk Fish can be found in this area.
- On top of that the better place for diving is located on the East coast along the hard coral reef where there are shipwrecks and good drifts. There are several interesting dive sites around Koh Racha Yai including Lucy’s Reef, Reef “Do little Do” where Stonefish and Batfish may be chanced upon. Not forgetting Marla’s mystery, a wreck that became home to Morays, Groupers and Lionfish.
